Thursday was supposed to be the debut of the Reno Aces, the Diamondbacks new Triple-A affiliate. But in the wake of the news of Nick Adenhart’s death, the team has decided to postpone their opener against the Salt Lake Bees–the Angels’ Triple-A affiliate. The Los Angeles Angels had also announced that they are postponing Thursday night’s game against the Oakland Athletics.

Although Adenhart was not on the current Bees roster, he had spent most of last year at Salt Lake affiliate, and he was a former teammate of many of the current Bees.
