Tigers righthander Brandon Hamilton, a 2007 supplemental pick out of Millbrook (Ala.) High, will join low Class A West Michigan. The 60th overall pick and the No. 10 prospect in the Tigers organization, Hamilton had been in extended spring training.
Hamilton, 19, had a 3.10 ERA, 23 strikeouts and 12 walks in 20 1/3 innings last year during his first taste of professional baseball in the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League.
