I am not the umpire but I am with him on this one. Attrocious behavior by the fans is already rising at alarming rates. Having the stadium staff cheerleading that behavior is over the line.

What a baby. Grow up man. He must have been a sensitive kid. Last time I checked, players played the game…not the umpires. I can't remember the last time people stood in line to watch someone umpire. The focus isn't on you buddy.

I work in a minor league press box and I can tell you that we have talked about this type of thing happening. In fact we talked about playing 3 blind mice a couple of years ago but we knew it would get the PA announcer tossed just like this guy. There are rules and you can't cross the line. The PA guy did and the ump did the right thing.
