Yankees Sign No. 4 International Prospect Alexander Palma



The Yankees have signed the fourth-ranked international prospect for July 2, Venezuelan right fielder Alexander Palma, for $800,000.

Palma, a 16-year-old righthanded hitter, has performed well during international competitions and at 6 feet, 200 pounds, he has a physical frame that projects for power. He trained at the Carlos Guillen academy.
