Cardinals Sign Edmundo Sosa For $425,000

The Cardinals have signed 16-year-old shortstop Edmundo Sosa from Panama for $425,000.

Sosa, who trains with German Gil, is 6 feet, 160 pounds and projects as a contact-hitting middle infielder. Baseball America subscribers can read Sosa’s complete scouting report.
