I grew up and played with Jake Elmore and he has gotten to where he is today with hard work he broke records in high school in juco and breaking them now in the minors he deserves a chance at the show no matter what the damn critics say about his glove, speed, or power. They were wrong about him in the draft and they are wrong now he will make it in the pros cause he works harder than the next guy.

Sometimes heart wins out over size and speed. Elmore seems to have the former!

Jake Elmore went 3-for-5 with a double for Reno on Sunday, pushing his hit streak to 26 games.

Sure, but the story states that Elmore leads the minors in batting, not Eaton. Factor in Eaton's 12-for-40 in the Southern League and he's batting .380 overall.

Adam Eaton is and has been leading the league in batting, not Elmore.
