Matt, reportedlly, the Royals signed OF Aaron Guiel and the Dodgers signed P Kyle Smit to minor league contracts during the offseason, but I cannot find any further mention of either. Do you know their current status? Thanks….Mike

Any word on the severity of Brian Goodwin's "hamstring" injury? He's been out forever, and I can't get anything on him from anyone!!!???

You scared me for a minute there. I thought maybe I had listed Chris Hatcher as "released" instead of "recalled," the latter of which is accurate. The Marlins called up Hatcher to work in the bullpen.

Any idea why Hatcher got released? He was off to a great start in AAA after dominating AA and making his MLB (pitching) debut last year.
