Don't fret—transactions will return this week. The Major League Baseball offices close for the holiday, during which time no transactions are officially approved.

Luis Terrero signed with Rakuten of Nippon Professional Baseball the weekend before last.

Regarding Luis Chirinos, the NABL transactions page says he signed with McAllen, but the NABL stats page says Rio Grande Valley.

Luis Chirinos played for the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings for the NABL last year, not McAllen.

Any word on why the Rockies signed Terrero in the beginning of the offseason and have now decided to release him before Spring Training? He's also been playing in the winter leagues.
