Baseball America, excellent insight. Thank you J.J. Cooper.

Corey Dickerson does have drastic home/road splits but he has produced some how, some way since drafted and moving to another park in 2012, High-A Modesto, I expect him to...thrive yet again. He'll find a way. Good hitters always do and despite his road numbers, his history shows he will continue to show well.
Tyler Matzek's prospect status took a big hit in 2011 but his confidence should be higher in 2012 with a strong finish in 2011, even if it took a demotion and a leave of absence to make it happen. All Matzek can control is "the now" not the past. He still has issues with control and command both but there are surely glimpses of his star potential.
Is he a boom-or-bust player or could he end up not as good as expected yet not terrible? Who knows. I believe, strongly, that the Rockies are greatly encouraged by the adjustments and perseverance Matzek has shown this season.
