The Twins have signed 5-foot-11 Dominican righthander Miguel Gonzalez for $650,000.

Gonzalez, a 16-year-old from La Vega who trains with Raul Valera (known as Banana) and plays at La Academia, has some of the best feel for pitching among this year's July 2-eligible pitchers.
