The Tigers have signed Dominican third baseman Adelin Santa for $750,000, the International Prospect League announced.
Santa, a 16-year-old from Santo Domingo, is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound righthanded hitter who stands out for his raw power and arm strength. BA subscribers can read a full scouting report on Santa and more of the top July 2 prospects in Latin America.
