The Red Sox have signed 16-year-old Dominican center fielder Manuel Marcos for $800,000.
Marcos, who trains with former scout Fred Ferreira, was one of the best athletes and defensive outfielders in Latin America. He is a 6-foot, 175-pound lefthanded hitter. Only BA subscribers can access Marcos' full scouting report.
