Don't give credit where it isn't due.. The credit for this signing belongs to Bob Engle and our Dominican scouting department. Jack Zduriencik is as far away from this signing as we are. Well, maybe a little closer, but only because he's in Florida for the winter-meetings..

Without a doubt guys!!! I agree with you 100%. 2010 was an ugly season for our big league club, but I have all the faith in the world that Jackie Z. is doing the right thing by building this organization! Can't wait to watch these guys for the next few years develop!

I agree with RPETITT…Zduriencik is doing a good job at securing hitting prospects. That's probably the best way to go. Pitching is fickel, look at what happened to the A's so far with $4.25 M going to Michael Ynoa. Japanese players are excited to join the West teams, and is another opportunity for the M's to explore. Continuing to corner the market on young hitters, paying for good pitching and getting some new International blood from Japan in should have the club winning titles before you know it.

HEY! Chuck Armstrong and Howard Lincoln please listen up. Take your hands off the wheel and let Jack Zduriencik man this Mariner ship. Give him time and don’t make any hasty decisions on his future. It’s nice to finally watch our farm system grow in talent instead of getting depleted for wash out National League flops.
