@Tom

I have not been able to confirm the Braves signings. The organization has been very busy importing minor league free agents, so maybe announcements on Boscan, Ramirez and Garcia will be forthcoming.

I did read that Boscan may take a minor league coaching position with the Braves.

Thanks again, Matt. I was surprised this isn't part of the common player stats.

@Jimmy

Baseball-Reference lists players' start and end dates with various clubs at the bottom of its Minors player pages. But no I've never seen a comprehensive player movement listing. That's the sort of thing one could only really get from MLB's private eBIS transactions databse.

Matt, first off, thanks very much for the post every week. Its great information.
I've been looking for some detailed transaction history for minor leaguers like past movements of players from one level to another within their major league team's system. The MiLB websties have this information archived back to early 2009, but that's as far back as I can find. Is that information available anywhere?

There are a bunch of Braves' guys I have questions about. Catcher J.C. Boscan was reported as having been removed from the 40-man roster, but there's been no word on his fate since then. I was under the impression that his removal did not automatically imply free agency, but perhaps it does. He should've become a minor-league free agent along with the 500-some others...where is he now?
Also, you wrote about how Wilkin Ramirez, once he was removed from the 40-man in August, stood to hit minor-league free agency for the first time. David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the Braves re-signed Ramirez, but I'm curious why that didn't show up in any transaction report.
Finally, local papers in Shreveport (http://www.ksla.com/Global/story.asp?S=13306105) reported that the Braves had signed local indy-league first baseman Christopher Garcia (who ranked third on J.J. Cooper's list of indy-league prospects). Can Transactions Blog confirm this?
