Three More DSL Players Suspended

The commissioner's office released the names of three more Rookie-level players from Latin American summer leagues who were suspended for 50 games for violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

They were:

• Cardinals shortstop Lainer Bueno (Venezuelan Summer League, tested positive for Clenbuterol)

• Angels outfielder Reynaldo Ruiz (Dominican Summer League, Boldenone)

• Orioles shortstop Alfredo Zambrano (DSL, Nandrolone)

All three suspensions are effective at the start of the 2011 season.
