Joe, USA Baseball depends on the teams to make players available, but there’s also more to a team than who had a great season. Bocock is an excellent defender, having made the major leagues with the Giants a couple of years ago on the strength of his glove. Redmond has Team USA experience and threw a no-hitter at Triple-A this year, and he has two years of Triple-A experience. It’s tough to get pitchers for this kind of team; I think he’s a solid choice. Sorry that you disagree, but if you go through the history of USA Baseball’s pro rosters, you’ll see this is a strong, representative roster.

who picks this team some of these guys had horrid seasons…Bocock…Redmond……..what aboutthe minor leaguers who had great seasons and arent on the 40 man….What a crock…..some guys (Bocock) get picked for teams and more deserved players get the shaft
