Regarding Tyler Lumsden . . . the biggest motivator in this trade is the fact that he'll be a minor league free agent in a few months. No need for the Astros to get too attached. Despite his good stuff (top-20 G/F rate in Double-A), Lumsden has fanned just 3.5 per nine this year.
