I will also point out that if you’re not subscribing to the Baseball America Prospect Report I would highly recommend it–by 8 a.m. every weekday morning we send out an email that highlights the top performing prospects around baseball from the night before. As far as our overall philosophy, we know there are a lot of websites that note that a certain prospect had a big game. But what we’re trying to do if give the insight and in-depth coverage that you expect out of Baseball America. While we can note that Kyle Gibson had a one-hitter, we also want to make sure we give you insight into what his stuff looked like and what he’s working on improving–like we did with Gibson a couple of weeks ago. Anyone can give you a recitation of the stat line, we aim to give you more than just that, which often means that we’re going to be less about breaking news and more about giving in-depth insights.
