A baseball coach performs a number of roles at all levels of the game but his/her main role is to ensure that players have the right approach to learning the game by helping them to developing their physical and mental abilities to be a success at it. A coach, whichever the sport, will always have challenges knocking at his door so he must be fully aware of his responsibilities as a mentor and deal with those challenges to the best of his ability. Indeed, a coach must always keep in mind that players welfare is paramount to their proficiency and expectations as competitors.

Success in international scouting does not come already made and wrapped up in polythene material, and cannot be found in a supermarket outlet. Nevertheless, coaching the young ones to learn the game of baseball is a sure way to exploit their natural aptitude for the game. Having said that success in coaching doesn't just happen as it is determined by the issues the coach and his players are able to piece together on and off the field. However, it must be said that it is by doing well what the coach knows best and doing it to his/her best ability, is what really determines the quality of his/her output. It is a fact that coaching kids to play sport is a good thing but a coach must know his limitations and he/she should never never promise what he/she cannot deliver or produce; however, preparation and persistence are fundamental issues in obtaining a coach's desire results. Moreover, integrity is candour and sovereign to everything else since honesty and straightforwardness are of paramount importance in coaching youngsters for their progress will reflect on the coach's overall impression and they are by far the most remembered qualities of a coach regardless how much success he/she had brought to an individual player or team. Dear Ben & John
basicly latino scouts are the high profile mens, but the buscones are key value scouting talent comes from milton morban up to batata(nickname).they really search all dominican territory and showcase the best talent they will found to all organizations. like dominican and venezuela have a lot of talent and comes to open market received tons of money is just because agents comes to that markets and get the talent before any scout or buscon!
diferences between organizations are just because they does not have similar relations with agents or buscones,buscones and agents knows how's have the open budget to pay special price or have special needs any kind of year! also most organizations comes into market trying to get the best talent price wise they can't get on the draft level money round.
guys to clear on a simple one word =RELATIONS!

I appreciate this piece and all the international baseball coverage you've provided, Ben. You make the necessary concession: quantity is not quality. What remains unanswered is why. Why are some organizations doing a better job identifying international prospects? What are they doing that other organizations are not? Thanks.
