I noticed the same thing with Drabek, John. Remember Chris Kline's story about Drabek chatting with him when he was supposed to be running? I think that was during instructs. It's great to see that Drabek's coming along so well.

Too bad Bumgarner didn't get to throw. I was anxious to see his breaking ball from the center field camera. When I saw him pitch earlier this year in San Jose, his breaking ball didn't really look that different than when we saw him in high school: Inconsistent with some promise.

Who did the voting for MVP? Tosoni's "hit" should have been caught.
For the game, Alcides Escobar: played the whole way, 2-4 with two runs, burned them with his speed and made the defensive play of the game with his catch in short left, followed by an immediate bullet throw to the cutoff man in case the guy on third was thinking of scoring.

Did those voters watch the whole game or come in at the end?
