I saw that Korbal's initial deal was voided, then he re-upped with SD. How often do players in that situation actually sign with other teams (notwithstanding Kala Ka'aihue type situations where they don't sign 'til years later - by the way, he was released by Atlanta)? If it doesn't happen, is that because of a gentleman's agreement b/w teams or asymmetrical information or player loyalty or... something else? Note and a question:
