I'm impressed with the young arms the Brewers have at Brevard County. Despite promotions for 6-0 Josh Butler and former first round pick Mike Jones, the team keeps rolling along in the FSL. Hopefully the organizations top overall pitching prospect (Jeremy Jeffers) can find his stuff in Brevard County and get back on track to the majors.

I do have a couple of questions. First, where is the love for last years 15th round diamond in the rough Robert Wooten. Wooten has only given up 1 ER in 21 IP. Also, do you think the loss of scouting director Jack Zduriencik will hurt the talent level in Brewers farm system?

Thanks for reading. The statistics presented were May output only. We can examine the cumulative numbers for Posey and all the first-rounders at the half-way point.

I think you've got Posey's average a bit off. He's currently at .309 with an on base percentage of .387 and a current OPS of .914... I really enjoy reading your stuff but please get it right!

BA was a good thing for baseball when 1st published ... provided information & allen simpson was a caring reporter ... BA needs to be less quick making initial judgements on draft selections ... BA needs to apologize to MIN for their recent drafts - ben revere, carlos gutierrez, aaron hicks all have talent, skills & are having success ... revere & gutierrez were labeled as over-drafts ... MIN knows what they're doing ... entire world/industry had prior over mauer - not sure that's exactly correct & you might want to share that information with jerry prior who thought MIN was a "nickel-dime" operation for not taking his son ... I'm sure glad they didn't
