I always get a kick out of B.A. saying, "Emaus' ticket to the Majors is through his bat." 99 percent of the players in the bigs are that way. You forget to mention that Emaus has 1 error this year and can turn a double play as well as any infielder in the BIGS! Somday B.A. will give him credit for his fielding ability.

Does anyone have any info on why zephers 1B Gaby Sanchez was removed in the 2nd inning?? The game recap didn't have any news on it and there's wasn't a note in the box score as to why.

thanks,

You make it sound like Poreda's improved K/9 is a bad thing. Speaking of Poreda do you have any word on how the secondary pitches are coming along? I've heard reports of him working a curve ball into the repertoire over the last year with promising results but I haven't been able to see him personally so some confirmation would be great. Also do you think the spike in BB/9 could be in part due to him working on the secondary pitches?
Thanks.
