While the past two installments have focused on released players, this time around we detail the bevy of moves that correspond with the finalization of organizations’ Opening Day rosters. Miller was once one of the game’s best pitching prospects—he ranked eighth on BA’s 2004 Top 100 Prospects list and rivaled Cole Hamles and Scott Kazmir for top pitcher honors in the Florida State League in 2003.
