Hessman either whiffs or hits the long ball. A career AAAA player with no mlb upside.

ovalle, of the Twins got caught by 3 high draf picks all in the same outfield in Ft. Myers (keep you eyes on them) but, I wanted to see him get a shot at AA New Britain. Some one at AA needs to give him a shot ,good avg, good speed.

The Jays release of Matt Bush probably ends the saga of the worst overall number one pick of all time. I hope he saved his signing bonus.

Mike Hessman has a lot going for him. He is one of the career leaders in minor league HR's. In addition to being a fine 3B defender, he can play an adequate SS. Also, he was the only USA Olympic player to hit a HR.

The Blue Jays made a terrible mistake releasing Patterson. They don't have much depth at the outfield position and when Vernon Wells gets hurt which usually happens they have even less. He had a great chance to make their team later in the year. If i were a GM I would pick him up right away with what he can do at the plate. I know he's older than most minor leaguers but he would definitely help the Jays.

How could the TIGERS release Nardozzi after he led the Midwest leauge in ERA in the month of August
.096 2-0 in his last ten games. Granted he ended up 5-5 and a 3.97 for the season and had a lull
during his first full season(typical) They should have at least seen if this would continue in 09. Paul was successful at every level he was in and it would have continued if given a chance. TIGERS LOSE AGAIN!!!!
