		<description>Hansack has re-signed with the Red Sox, yes. He was released on April 22, removing him from the 40-man, and subsequently brought back on a minor league deal. 

Hansack had served his time on the DL at the time of his release. Players can be placed on the minor league DL retroactively, just as they can in the major leagues. That could account for timing, as could the fact that these transactions can be up to a week old when they appear on this blog.</description>
