Same with the rule 4 draft? #1. Washington?

While its obviously important to see who was added to the 40-man, isn’t the more interesting list who wasn’t added?

PS- per previous post… Baine has been the scouting director of the LA Angels since they got rid of Rowland.

Schlicting of the Dodgers,, Just one more pitching prospect with a high ceiling that the Angels let go either by mistake or bad scouting,ala (Madrigal, Jenks, Turnbow). Both Madrigal and Schlicting were sent to the Arizona minor league camp in 2006 from Cedar Rapids to be converted to pitchers. Tony Reagins cut Schlicting in spring training and lost Madrigal to the Rule 5 by making a mistake. But then I guess then the Angels just buy players to make the playoffs. The minor league system has really fallen off since they fired Donny Rowland and hired Eddie Baine to head up things.

Dale Thayer could be the first one the Major League roster out of the three the Rays brought up. Also how long will Matt Bush stay with the Padres? Longer than Bullington, Hamilton?
