Summer League Suspensions Index



The tally for performance-enhancing substance suspensions levied against Latin American summer leaguers climbed to 39 on Friday with the announcement of 12 more 50-game suspensions. Prior to this season, news of suspensions for Dominican and Venezuelan summer league players were not made publicly available.

Aug. 1 • Two More DSL Suspensions Announced

Aug. 8 • Two DSL Mets Righthanders To Sit

Aug. 11 • Three DSL Reds Earn Suspensions

Aug. 12 • Three More Players Suspended (Only two were DSL players)

Aug. 13 • Three More DSL Suspensions

Aug. 14 • Suspensions Levied For Two DSL Cubs

Aug. 26 • Five Minor Leaguers Suspended

Aug. 29 • Three Minor Leaguers Suspended

Sept. 5 • Twelve More DSL, VSL Suspensions
