Great Falls shortstop Tyler Kuhn (White Sox) went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple as the Voyagers topped the Missoula Osprey (Diamondbacks), 6-1. Kuhn was the White Sox’ 15th-round draft pick out of West Virginia. The double was his 23rd of the season and the triple was his ninth, as he’s hitting .378/.429/.578 over 251 at-bats. He ranks first in the Pioneer League in triples, fourth in doubles, second in batting average and on-base percentage and third in slugging percentage.
Billings left fielder Tony Brown (Reds) stayed hot by going 2-for-6 with his third triple and two RBIs. . . Missoula center fielder Alberto Diaz (Diamondbacks) went 2-for-4 with his seventh triple and seventh home run. The 19-year-old Dominican is hitting .276/.329/.434 on the year. . . Casper DH Wilin Rosario (Rockies) went 2-for-3 with two RBIs as the Ghosts took down Idaho Falls (Royals), 8-2 in six innings. The game was called early because of rain. . . Helena DH Cutter Dykstra (Brewers) went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles. Dykstra, the son of ex-Major Leaguer Lenny Dykstra, is hitting .277/.381/.422 over 166 at-bats between the Arizona League and the Pioneer League after being taken in the second round of the draft.
What To Watch For Today
After dominating the Arizona League with 67 strikeouts over 57 2/3 innings, righthander Manuarys Correa will make his fourth start for Orem as the Owlz gear up for the Pioneer League playoffs, which begin tomorrow.
