Three more Dominican Summer League players, including two Royals, were suspended today for 50 games for testing positive for a metabolite of Boldenone, a performance-enhancing substance.
Royals catcher/first baseman Juan Fortuna, 19, batted .246/.393/.292 with six doubles in 130 DSL at-bats.
Royals righthander Juan Garcia, 19, went 0-5, 3.82 with 23 strikeouts and 18 walks in 30 2/3 innings.
Cubs righthander Starlin Peralta, 17, went 4-4, 6.92 with 33 strikeouts and 24 walks in 40 1/3 innings.
