Florida State League
Prospect Of The Day
Fort Myers (Twins) DH Wilson Ramos took the day off from catching, but not from hitting. He was 1-for-3, but got the most productive at-bat possible, hitting a grand slam for his 13th home run of the season. The Miracle needed all of it as it edged out Lakeland (Tigers) 6-5. Ramos is now hitting .275/.333/.430.
Prospect Nuggets
Brevard County (Brewers) catcher Jonathan Lucroy was well on his way to making the Not So Hot list, but went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs last night, leaving the dishonor for someone else to claim…Marlins lefthander Andrew Miller made a rehab start for Jupiter last night.
