SANTIAGO, D.R.–Miguel Tejada blasted two home runs as Aguilas routed Mexico 13-6 in the late game Saturday night.
Tejada hit his first home run in the bottom of the second inning, passing Tony Armas with his 12th Caribbean blast of his career. The Astros shortstop hit one more in the seventh, in what was expected to be a rout of Mexico.
The two Dominican clubs, Aguilas and and Licey will square off against each other Monday night in the matchup everyone in the country is waiting for.
