		<description>There really is only one number that matters and it is wins. How many other guys won 19 games? 19 wins and a perfect game? Started the All-Star game? I think that qualifies as a big year. There is a guy on the list that is 4-5. I guess that&#039;s a big year.</description>

		<description>Carpenter&#039;s 17 wins are nice, but his peripheral numbers simply do not compare with the pitchers listed here.

Despite being a second-round college pick in 2006, Carpenter&#039;s K% ranked just 39th in the league, and his K-BB just 43rd. 

This doesn&#039;t mean Carpenter is not the equal of these pitchers in prospect terms, but that his season, aside from the 17 wins, was not quite as loud.</description>
