Mets righthander Jorge Reyes, 22, incurred a 100-game suspension from Minor League Baseball for twice failing tests for performance-enhancing substances. His first suspension came in April 2006.
Signed by the Mets out of the Dominican Republic in 2003, Reyes won his only start this season with low Class A Savannah, striking out five and walking four in five innings. Now in his fifth pro season, Reyes has gone 10-15, 4. 24 in 58 career games, all but three of them in short-season ball.
