KC Calls Up Butler



The Royals called up outfielder Billy Butler on Tuesday and the 21-year-old was expected to be inserted into the starting lineup immediately.

Butler, a 2004 first-round pick, was hitting .337/.445/.584 with six homers and 23 RBIs in 89 at-bats at Triple-A Omaha this season.
