A product of Acadiana HS in Lafayette, La., Trahan offers plus power and arm strength. He also runs well for a 6-foot-1, 220-pounder. Scouts offer mixed opinions as to whether he can stay behind the plate, though he has the tools to profile well as a right fielder if he can't. He had committed to Mississippi.
