College Draft Prospects Stat Roundup: Week 14

• We’ve been writing all year that Stanford ace Mark Appel hasn’t dominated as much as his draft status and stuff would indicate he should. But he dominated Utah this weekend. Appel threw a four-hit shutout with one walk and 13 strikeouts. It was Appel’s fourth complete game of the season and the seventh time he’s recorded double-digit strikeouts. Appel improved to 9-1, 2.45 with the win. Lefthander Brett Mooneyham continued to carve up the Utes the following day, going 8 1/3 innings while giving up one run on four hits with one walk and 10 strikeouts himself. He also got the win, improving to 7-4, 3.30.

• Arizona State shortstop Deven Marrero had arguably the best weekend of his junior year, going 8-for-12 against Washington with three doubles and a triple. Marrero has had a down year, but raised his line on the season to .279/.336/.436. He still projects to be picked in the middle of the first round because of his premium defensive skills. Arizona State has three games left this year (May 25-27 at Arizona), as the Sun Devils have a one-year postseason ban.

• Florida senior outfielder Preston Tucker went 8-for-14 this weekend against Auburn. Tucker’s eight hits included two doubles and two home runs. The Gators took two out of three from the Tigers and Tucker is now hitting .321/.405/.601 on the season. Catcher Mike Zunino also had a great weekend, going 4-for-10 with two doubles and his 15th home run of the year. Zunino is a lock to be a top five pick in June and is now hitting .324/.386/.657.

• The middle of Purdue’s lineup continues to rake. Third baseman Cameron Perkins went 5-for-14 on the weekend with two home runs and catcher Kevin Plawecki went 5-for-13 with two doubles. It wasn’t enough, though, as Purdue lost the series at Iowa. On the season, Perkins is now hitting .359/.407/.548 and Plawecki is sporting a .361/.450/.554 line.

Here are all of the weekend stats for the nation's top draft-eligible college players, listed alphabetically by school. The stats were collected by CollegeSplits.com. why the old numbers?

Not sure what you're talking about, David. Is there something that is outdated?
