College Draft Prospects Stat Roundup: Week 13



• Texas A&M senior righthander Ross Stripling threw a no-hitter against San Diego State on Saturday. Stripling threw the no hitter on the day he was scheduled to graduate and it was the 11th no-hitter in Texas A&M history. Stripling walked one batter and struck out seven. He is now 9-2, 2.36 on the season with 97 strikeouts and 15 walks over 103 innings.

• Louisiana State ace righthander Kevin Gausman threw a complete game in the team's victory against Vanderbilt on Friday. Gausman gave up one run on five hits while walking one and striking out 11. Gausman improved his record to 8-1, 2.95.

• Stanford ace Mark Appel gave up two runs on six hits over eight innings against Washington State. Appel walked one and struck out 10 for the win, improving his record to 8-1, 2.68.

• San Francisco righthander Kyle Zimmer threw seven innings against Santa Clara, giving up one run on six hits while walking two and striking out 11. With the win, Zimmer is now 5-3, 2.60 on the season.

• Oklahoma State lefthander Andrew Heaney pitched a complete game against Alcorn State. He gave up two runs on three hits without issuing a walks and while racking up 11 strikeouts in the win. Heaney is now 8-1, 1.59 on the year.

• Texas Christian outfielder Jason Coats and catcher Josh Elander helped the Horned Frogs put the hurt on Air Force this weekend. Coats went 8-for-14 with a double and two home runs. On the season, the senior is now hitting .341/.392/.528. Elander went 5-for-13 with three doubles and a home run and is now hitting .317/.444/.509 himself. TCU swept Air Force by a combined score of 33-3 over the three game series.

• Central Florida outfielder Ronnie Richardson had a good weekend against Marshall, going 6-for-13 with a double, two home runs and he swiped his 21st base of the season. Richardson also set the school record for most career hit-by-pitches, when he led off Friday's game with his 56th-career plunking.
