]]> http://www.baseballamerica.com/blog/draft/2011/06/yankees-pay-bichette-above-slot/comment-page-1/#comment-51666 daryl0 Sun, 19 Jun 2011 20:45:36 +0000 http://www.baseballamerica.com/blog/draft/?p=3647#comment-51666 This seems like favoritism to me.  Why does the MLB front office allow the Yankees to be the first team to sign a player for more than 5% overslot?  I'm sure there are sevearl prospects that have deals ready to go in the 10% to 15% overslot range that are being held up by the FO right now.  It's a big advantage for the Yankees to get Bichette into camp so qiuckly.
