The Cubs have signed second-round pick Reggie Golden for $720,000. The 65th overall pick, he received a bonus worth $157,500 more than MLB's recommendation for his draft position, making his the biggest of the known above-slot deals to date.
An outfielder from Wetumpka (Ala.) High, Golden is a right fielder with five-tool potential.
