This was the guy I thought the Mets were going to draft. I was really suprised to see him available at 13th. I do think it would be a mistake to bring him up this year. This is especially true because he did not face the top competition in college. I would like to see him go and pitch in the SS and begin in low A next year. What ever happened to developing a kid.

Good for the White Sox to get this done early. Sounds like they had good info pre draft as everyone seemed to anticipate Sale would sign in August for higher than slot.
Also very interesting that the Sox plan to fast track him.
