Astros’ Second Pick: Foltynewicz

The Astros again take a non-consensus first-rounder with Mike Foltynewicz, the Illinois prep righthander. At 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Foltynewicz has the pitcher's projectable body, and he's a fresh Northern arm, so he has projection. He also sat 91-94 mph most of the spring, peaking at 96. However, he was No. 44 on BA's Top 200. Conor Glassey interviewed Foltynewicz for a prep Q&A on our site in the last month: http://www.baseballamerica.com/blog/high-school/?p=147
