Dale,

SoCal certainly has a ton of talent, but BA covers the whole country for high school baseball. You'll see a lot of SoCal coverage from Dave because he used to scout for a team and lives in SoCal. I definitely encourage anyone interested in high school baseball to follow our draft coverage but also stay in tune with our High School page and blog which has team rankings, player features and news from from all over the country. The word we have on Arizona is that it's a bit of a down year, but the playe I think you're speaking of is Konner Wade, if I'm not mistaken. He's been getting some attention lately and we'll certainly be tracking his progress. I know one of his coaches very well so he won't be go unnoticed. Thanks for the interest!

Great HS coverage. Thanks Dave. It seems as though BA focuses primarily on SoCal players in terms of in season coverage. This may be because the talent is only there, but I dont follow enough as it is as I am a new BA subscriber. Though if you make it out to AZ, my son just faced a kid who I felt is a top guy. RHP out of Chaparral HS in Scottsdale. 6'3 180. He was 90-93 with very good life and a plus Change and a CB that scouts were smiling about a lot. There were a dozen scouts there as well, so Im guessing he is on the radar. I didnt get the kid's name though, and apparently the scouts said it was his coming out party, as he had been 87-90 early in the season. Would love to see some AZ kids get some pub!

Peter has definitely grown in the past year. He has filled out somewhat, but still retains a good deal of projection. I stood a few feet away from him before Thursday's game, and my guess is that he is 6 foot 3.

He's listed at 6-1, 160 on the Aflac roster. Looking at the video of him from last year's PG National Showcase, he does look bigger than that, though.
