I don't think there are any questions about Bryce Harper's Age, where people have always suspected Freddie Adu was about 2-3 years older than he says, which is why he was such a phenom when he was playing in the Youth Leagues, its easy to dominate Kids when you're 2-3 years older than them, Ask Danny Almonte

Whether there was 30 or 100 scouts there. Harper is the real deal. He will be an asset to any major league team. I have played with Bryce and haven't seen a better all around athlete on tv in person or ever. Believe the hype!

Did the writer actually attend these games or pick up quotes, etc. from the Vegas papers & CSN? Stands were full Friday night but 1400 seems a stretch… The kid dropped out of HS and got his GED. Much of this sounds very similar to what was in the local papers. More like 30-40 scouts there. Harper did well against weaker pitching. Will he get better? Sure, everyone will be throwing their aces against CSN. Arm strength looked good from CF, he's got work to do behind the plate. Biggest hurdle will be emotionally as I'm sure he'll feel so much pressure from a lot of different sources. Was interesting to see him ready to brawl on Saturday and behing held back by teammates. He's obviously got the talent to be where he is, and he'll grow up fast this season.
