He had made clear that he intended to return to school if he wasn&#039;t 3rd round or higher, and given that he absolutely loves college (he has been a freshman orientation adviser both upperclass years and participated actively in his residential college events) and that he&#039;s closing in on a Civil Engineering degree from Rice, that was clearly no idle threat.

I&#039;m sure Peter Angelos also didn&#039;t want the egg on his face of losing another good Rice prospect to a return to school like he did with Townsend five years ago.

I would not be surprised, however, to learn of Berry finishing his degree by December 2010.]]></description>
