Posted by Ryan | June 11, 2009 at 1:05 am | ShortcutInch from Canada was taken today by the Phillies. Just an update.
Posted by Dave | June 11, 2009 at 1:21 am | ShortcutHaerther and Bibona were drafted by the angels and cardinals respectively I believe. which I believe would give the cardinals two consecutive UCI aces but id think Bibona goes back to school. Kaupang has massive power but struggled last year USD and also had some character issues I believe but raked at cypress in the best jc conference in california if not the nation. Cutspec has had a smooth swing since his days as a catcher at westminster hs. Thomas had a down year but the is impressively strong for someone of his stature and has great speed. He will only add to the speed game at Fullerton.
Posted by california insider | June 11, 2009 at 1:55 am | Shortcutso was Daniel Bibona
Posted by Jason G | June 11, 2009 at 7:31 am | ShortcutNick Wooley was taken by the Royals already.

Posted by ben | June 11, 2009 at 8:19 am | ShortcutWhat about Chris Carmain of St. John’s Prep (Mass)? He hit 3 HRs the other day in 20-2 rout.
Posted by Preston | June 11, 2009 at 8:50 am | ShortcutJohn, or anyone from BA, is their any indication of what Maddox’s asking price is? And if so do you think it would be worth it to meet it at this point?
Posted by Steve | June 11, 2009 at 10:17 am | ShortcutHas anyone heard about Kevin Franchetti out of Andrean High School in Merrilville, Indiana hes a great catcher.
Posted by Patrick Terry | June 11, 2009 at 10:47 am | ShortcutHow does Nate Lape not get drafted? Drafted in 20th round as a junior. He played well in the Cape and was a top 100 college prospect before the season???
Posted by Erin | June 11, 2009 at 3:28 pm | ShortcutHow does Eric Pettis, Christian Bergman, Francis Larson etc. from UCI not get drafted? Almost no Juniors were drafted from the team that beat Fullerton 2 times (nearly 3), won the Big West handily, led the polls for most of the end of the season, and hosted the arguably toughest regional in the country. Something’s fishy.
