It would have been understandable if the Yankees were unsure of how to announce the position of their 45th rounder.Creighton pitcher Pat Venditte is believed to be the only ambidextrous pitcher in Division I college baseball, and he has pitched both lefthanded and righthanded in college games, as former BA staffer Alan Schwarz wrote in his feature on Venditte. He was announced as a righthander, for the record.
