Hasn't done a lot with a bat? Not that it matters for a guy who's being sought as a pitchter, but he's hitting .364 with a .995 OPS.

As far as his pitching goes, his Ks have been down this year, but he still gets the outs, puts up the numbers, and, for the most part, keeps the ball on the ground. His BAA is .239 and his opponents' OPS is .646.

Savery was a Top Prospect coming into this year as a pitcher and hitter. Seeing how he hasn't done a whole lot with the Bat this year and injury issues have kept him off the mound, whats his draft status as of now? And, with a great postseason, could he get back to where he was pre-injury?

To say that Savery is "unimpressive" is like saying that your favorite 5-star restaurant that you have gone to for years is horrible. You can't judge something on one episode. Savery has put up the numbers both pitching and hitting. I don't disagree that he could, at times, use some fine tuning. As a Rice fan and a former college catcher I am extremely critical of him. He has the goods. Scouts are in the business of getting the best players they can at the lowest cost....so it makes sense not to sing his praises too loud!!
