My son was suspended by NCAA in his freshman year by the same rule. He never came back to top form after this suspension. Its a shame a 6'5 lefty pitcher is not playing baseball. The NCAA should look at this rule very closely. 4 years I have payed attention and watch some kids get away with this rule while other kids has to pay. NOT FAIR

Is there any real discussion being held by the NCAA to reform these rules in regards to baseball?

Great article. The NCAA is a hypocritical money making machine that applies rules differently to suit their needs. The schools ( who aren't perfect either) need to reign the NCAA in a little. I love how you touched on the Cam Newton situation vs. Ehlers and Minnis ( and I love the different penalties handed down by the NCAA, truly weird and defying logic).
