Wow ! Longest game in NCAA history according to the time it took to play. Funny that BA didn't mention how USD got their two runs. They were both produced by a FRESHMAN ! Kris Bryant started a two out rally in the first inning and scored the first run. He then drove in the second run with a sac fly in the sixth. He ended up 3 – 8 on the day . He also made three do or die defensive plays late into the game that were crucial to the game going 22 innings.

I was @ that Fresno State-San Diego game @ Beiden Field and THOUGHT!!..San Diego was going to win w/a 2-0 lead w/1-out in bottom-of-the-9th inning and was getting ready to GO HOME!! until Brennan Gowens TIED IT!! 2-2…and I decided to STICK AROUND!!…BOY!!!!..was I in for a big suprise and NEVER thought it would be that long.It was EXHAUSTING just to watch but MY DOGS!!…came through AGAIN!….I'll NEVER GIVE-UP! on this team anymore,and they CONTINUE to suprise me game-after-game…..I THINK this team is BETTER than the 2008 Championship team.Keep up the good work & GO DOGS!!

Whatever those Cal State Fullerton players did to get suspended, they couldn't have picked a dumber time to do it since they missed out on a trip to Hawaii. Ah, youthful indiscretion.

And in Charlottesville, U Va completed their series sweep of Maryland with identical 4-2 wins in a doubleheader played Saturday. Snow on the ground here in Charlottesville on Sunday, so they were smart to move up Sunday's game to Saturday.
